Teflon (PTFE) has an outstanding chemical resistance. Its low coefficient of friction and very smooth surface makes it particularly suitable in the fabrication of high-temperature seals, insulators and bearings parts. These parts are most oftenly used in semiconductor, aerospace & chemical processing industries. Teflon has also been approved as a food-safe material to be used in food processing applications.
