Also known as PTFE-coated fiberglass cloth, heat resistant isolant is composed of a fiberglass weave with PTFE coating on top. Available in cloth as well as tape forms, with or without adhesives, this material is a good insulator with excellent non-stick surface. Coupled with one-side adhesive, this material can be sticked on any surface, acting as an insulator for the surface.
One example of its application is within sealing machines: heat resistant isolant acts as the insulator surface, where heated metals will come in contact with the base.
